Everyone has a story. Everyone deserves to go home.
Greeting friends of The Faces of Homelessness Speakers Bureau,
I am writing to thank you for your interest and partnership with the Speaker’s Bureau. We are always grateful for the opportunity to help people better understand homelessness by allowing us to share our personal stories about life on the streets.
This not only brings to light the misconceptions and misinformation about homelessness, but also helps people that have experienced homelessness understand the issues and events that led them to homelessness and often reminds them of the struggle and hard work it takes to return to stable housing.
We have new members of the bureau who are eager to share their story and also have the veterans of the bureau. We are very active and wish to remind you that we are available for any type of group or event where people are interested in learning about the issues of homelessness and poverty.
If you would like to host a panel of speakers at your school or organization, please fill our our event information form.
